Lily has a very large mass on her spleen and its bleeding out into her abdomen. The surgery is very tough on them and Ive been told they normally die within 3 months of the surgery and 80% of the time the mass is malignant. This is something that came up suddenly. There were no prior signs as to poor health. I took her for a run Sunday and it was then she started her decline and rapidly since then. I was told she would possibly not last thru the night. Shes been given a Chinese herb that slows the bleed down so I have a little more time with her. Ill have to make a very hard decision today and say goodbye.
