Lilys Surgery Update From Her Grandpa Jed I just received the full report. The Neurosurgeon and all of us remain very optimistic and have high hopes. I wanted the truth and didnt want things, Surgarcoated. The Doc feels like he removed all of the tumor but wont be sure until all testing is completed next week. She can see and her eyes follow the Docs hand. She cant speak. She is paralyzed on her right side. The inability to speak and partial paralysis are often temporary following this procedure. The EVD(drain) will remain in her head to allow excess fluid to drain out & prevent swelling around her brain. Her vital signs are currently stable. The tumor appears to consist of two separate types of growths. Thank you all for your prayers, healing vibes, support and most importantly your love. Ill be spending most of my time at Dell Childrens Hospital for the next 2-3 weeks. My facebook time will be limited to 10-20 minutes max per week. I will keep you all posted as time permits. I wont be taking calls and texts for 2-3 days as I need some quiet time to process all that has occurred and the Docs report. Peace, Love, Joy and Hope to you all for 2015.
