Linda Brown I know its been tough lately. I saw this one a friends timeline and I wanted to share it with you because it will impact you, Im sure of it. Love you! I woke up early this morning with this song in my heart. Praying for so many friends who are facing illness, disease, anxiety, depression... you name it. Jesus is greater & so much stronger! If you can, read 2 Chronicles 20 - One of my favorite stories in the bible, about Jehoshophat defeating the armies that came against him. He called a fast, & sought the Lord. Here are some tidbits from the chapter: V.9 If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’ V.12 For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” Then a guy named Jahaziel , prophesied & gave instructions for them to simply take their positions & watch God deliver them. (Sounds crazy, right?! Well heres my favorite part...) V. 21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.” V. 22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. Ill stop my super long post here...and just end by saying He is the same yesterday, today & tomorrow! Your battle belongs to The Lord. Fast. Pray. Listen. Obey. Worship Him. Worship Him some more.
