Dwight is from my town here in Deer Lake. He mentioned at a business function here that it would be to the benefit of all rescues if they could combine their voices as one to help him approach the Government on their behalf as the Leader of the opposition party. I told him their is a group..this group..the NLAAC..So this is an email I just received from Dwight, now its up to this group to work together and pick a place and time..I told him this would be an informal gathering..to all sit down and get some direction on how to implement changes to our provincial animal protection act..any suggestions that he may have to help this group would be greatly appreciated..so now the floor is open here for you..what changes..here now is the email.. Hi Linda Absolutely I am willing to meet, from you message I understand that this is a provincial group, not sure where you would like to meet, how many would be attending and some idea on when this could happen. I have copied Jeanette Fleming and Jason Young on the email, Jeanette works out of the St Johns office and is responsible for arranging meetings and of course Jason works out of the Deer Lake office, both locations are available to you and your group Look forward to hearing from you Dwight
