Listen to this weeks (Sunday August 10, 2014) message from Pastor Adam Dinnell: Got Fruit: The Fruits of the Spirit - Gentleness Gentleness is not weakness, it is control strength. Gentleness is a strong hand with a soft touch. It is a tender, compassionate approach toward others weaknesses and limitations. It is understanding that all people come from a place of fear, tolerating its expression without responding in kind. A gentle person still speaks truth, sometimes even painful truth, but in doing so guards his tone so the truth can be well received. As it said in Proverbs 15: 1-4 1. A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. 2. The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness. 3. The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good. 4. Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.
