Listening to.....The Cure-Lets Go To Bed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Taken from their 1983 collection Japanese Whispers. This was arguably the most commercial song The Cure ever released before they delivered the inaccessible opus The Top in 1984. Lets Go To Bed recalls the Synth-Pop of their previous single The Walk(also on Japanese Whispers) & features a similar music video depicting a rather psychedelic dreamhouse location. Japanese Whispers also featured the infuriating to some, infectous to others, The Lovecats & my personal favourite from the collection, Lament. Lets Go To Bed may not be anywhere near the finest work of the 80s but it still sounds as catchy today over 30 years on. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
