(Literal)Vent: We had to get a new (gas) dryer because ours died, and on top of the $90 fee for inspection/installation that Mpls requires for gas dryers (?!), when the Sears guys showed up today with the dryer, they said nope, cant put it in,theyll have to come back next week and well have to pay them an additional ***$400*** because our vent opening to the outside is 3 and code requires a 4 opening so they have to fix that? Really!? $400 for the Sears installer dudes to make a exhaust vent hole 1 wider? Is this crap for real? Im all for enforcing housing codes, but....$400??? Cant I just get out a hammer and do it myself?
