Liturgical Day: Wednesday the 29th week of Ordinary Time Gospel (Lk 12.39 to 48): At that time the Lord said to his disciples: Remain certain if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief was coming, he would not let his house be broken into. We found that these potentials and their own lives are gifts from God, because we have done nothing to get them. It is a personal, nontransferable and only this and this is what gives us our personality. Are the talents that Jesus himself tells us (cf. Mt 25,15), the qualities that we grow in our lifetime. For the time that less you think, will the Son of Man (Luke 12:40), Jesus ends by saying in the first paragraph. Our hope is in the coming of the Lord Jesus in the end times; but now and here Jesus is present in our life, the simplicity and complexity of each moment. It is now when, with Gods strength, we can live his Kingdom. St. Augustine reminds us with the words of Psalm 32,12: «Ditosa the nation whose God is the Lord, so be aware of it pruned, forming part of this nation. You also must be ready (Lk 12,40), this exhortation is a call to faithfulness, which is subordinated to selfishness. We have a responsibility to know response to the goods we received together with our life. «Knowing the will of the Lord (Lk 12,47), is what we call our conscience and is what makes us responsible for our actions dignity.
