Live in riders job in the uk Looking for the impossible! ***groom that can ride for very busy dealing yard in Peterborough**** *References required! *Hours are from 730-430 although we usually finish early,that depends on you if you work slow you finish late! *We start our day mucking out there will be you and one other person at worst there will be 23 stables full although we try not to fill them all up and in summer months a lot will be turned out but be prepared to be mucking out 12 boxes aday if need be. *We then start riding the horses we have all vary in type age hight and experience. Some will be being backed,others broken but green,some quirky ones,some well schooled ones,some will need riding steadily others will need sharpening up! Some will buck others might nap you have to be prepared for it all. We never no what we have got till its in our yard and once the horses are here its our job to make the best possible horse out of it! Dont expect and easy ride they all need riding for each and every horses individual needs you MUST be able to have a good feel of what the horse your riding needs and adapt! You must also have nice soft hands we like everything to be schooled to work well in an outline! NO WIND BAGS/NO HANDY RIDERS! *you must be able to plait and bath a horse to show standard. We bath and plait every horse for pictures and customers so this will be done ALOT! We are to busy to train someone so you must already be very experienced at riding,mucking out fast,bathing and plaiting dont apply if your good at one thing but not the other this is no use to me! *We do lots of Xc schooling in the dry months and would go to shows if we had something with potential. *The job comes with your own flat! *all bills paid! * Use of car! * wages depends on the person your need to come for a few days trail! *for an ambitious person a stable that you can buy and sell from yourself!
