Living in the country never fails to be an adventure for us. The storms were crazy today-- like nothing Ive seen. I was so thankful for my awesome neighbor (Siobhan Spain) who came and rescued me during the tornado warning since we dont have a basement. She literally risked life and limb (AND had to heave-ho a huge limb that had fallen in our driveway to get to me). Shes superwoman, people. Our power was out from a downed line right off the main road so I couldnt get my garage door open to get to her. Anyway, all is well now and the power is back on. I have learned two things living out here: it can be an exhilarating and sometimes scary adventure but God has always given us what we needed. We are so thankful for our neighbors and this crazy country life.
