Loading up my groceries at Woodmans, and a gentleman asked if I had any Bulldogs because of my sticker on my truck. I mentioned that I used to have an American Bulldog but he had passed away and that now I own two American Pitbull terriers. This gentlemen continued to relay a story to me from 3 years ago of how he met his first pit bulls at the Great Lakes Pet Expo. Before he met these two dogs he was terrified of pitbulls because of what the media told him they were. He started telling me about the one with scars who used to live with Michael Vick obviously that was Hector. He talked about how he was impressed with what Hector overcame in his life and how amazingly kind the dog was after how he was brought up. I did let him know that Hector passed away this week and he said he was sorry but then he started talking about another one he started talking about a tall brown and white pitbull who danced and hug people and his name was caesar. Thanks to Hector the pitbull and my Caesar the fabulous pittie bull, this gentleman is no longer afraid of pitbulls. I think Hector had more influence but Im glad my little boys name stuck with this guy for 3 years.
