Local MPs have criticised a large retirement pay-off by Cumbria County Council. Its confirmed that the former chief executive, age 55, retired from her £170,000 position with a £411,000 benefits package. What do you think? When local authority workers are losing their jobs because of cut backs, should council bosses be given large pay outs? Or should senior public servants not be paid the same, despite carrying out roles similar to those in private businesses? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter or e-mail pamandian@itv
