Locals Fed Up !!! Shoalhaven City Council may have opened the entrance to Lake Conjola, but residents have to put up with unnecessary flooding whenever there is good rainfall. Property is damaged, roads blocked and parks turned into lakes. Calls to have the entrance permanently opened keeps falling on deaf ears. These photos show what sort of problems the Lake Conjola locals are having to deal with. A resident said you can see the lake flowing through the back gate into my yard. Shoalhaven Council can only open the lake when it floods.
