Location - Mumbai Sector - Finance Qualification - CA Exp - 2 to 3 years JD – Finance & Accounts Officer Key Responsibilities:- 1. This position will be responsible for handling the accounting, tax and controllership functions for accounts and finance. 2. Revenue and expense accounting, approval of payments accounts receivable, accounts payable, maintaining statutory books of accounts, payroll processing in co-ordination with accounting and payroll service providers. 3. Preparation and finalization of financial statements, coordinating statutory audit and interacting with statutory auditors 4. Design and implement internal control systems, processes, policies and procedures for the accounting, procurement and finance functions 5. Handling all taxation matters - Income Tax, Service Tax, tax management/ planning and ensuring compliance (including filing of returns) with all direct and indirect tax requirements, coordinating with the Company’s tax advisors and tax authorities 6. Ensuring timely conduct of Board meetings, AGM, preparation and maintenance of agenda and minutes of meeting, filing of various documents/ reports with ROC and other statutory agencies 7. Developing internal policies and ensuring compliance with those policies 8. Building a robust management information system (MIS) framework including management of budgets and forecasts 9. Preparation of budgets and MIS reports including monthly cash flow forecasts, financial performance reports, variance reports and key performance indicators in a timely manner 10. Contracting and commercial negotiations with vendors 11. Working Capital management 12. Maintaining day to day relationships with the Company’s banks for cash management purposes Skills Set • Good knowledge of Tally & Computers (MS Office, email communication) • Should be presentable with good communication skills. • Independent, meticulous and able to multi-task • Strong analytical abilities.
