Log of Lt. Cage, SADF-NATO zombie-alliance squad: The field below us swarmed with the undead. We waited for the all clear from the survivors moving like specks far below us. Skirmishing broke out, but they quickly armed the EMP device. Then things got serious. The zedheads became a hive of activity. The humans approached as we landed the evac chopper, and primed the anti-nanite field. That was all we could spare - every gun was defending the perimeter set to shoot to kill on sight. I suppose many MIA humans went down under suspicion of being a zombie. Casualties of war... The humans appeared over the rise, barelling into the horde and firing. The zombies were terrifying - how the Hell could anyone have survived a week against them? But, miraculously, some scrambled onto the chopper. Others werent so lucky. Moments before the EMP detonated, we took off. Explosions rocked the campus, and the humans breathed. Sigh of relief. Strange though... I swear I can hear a voice in my head, saying UPGRADE IN PROGRESS...
