Logan Update: Logan had his 6th surgery this morning since this whole ordeal started. His inflammation level is 3.4, a 1 is normal. The surgeon was able to remove his wound vac, remove the remaining pins, and close his incision. He has a hard cast with a window to see his stitches so we can keep an eye on him for further signs of infection. His PICC line is intact and will stay in place for the next few months. This entire episode has completely disrupted our lives, but I am grateful to have my son alive and with both his arms. I have stayed by his bedside 24/7 and watched my very sick little boy go from near death, back to his normal everyday goofy annoying self. Although our normal everyday life is a constant battle with him, I wouldnt trade it for anything. Thank you everyone for your support during this time. It means the world to know that so many of you love us.
