Loha Prasat (brazen palace) is one of the most iconic landmarks in Bangkok. Loha Prasat was commissioned by King Rama III in 1846 to be built as a part of Wat Ratchanatdaram at Ratchadamnoen Klang and Maha Chai Road. It comprises of 37 metal spires signifying the 37 virtues to attain Enlightenment.
