Lok Adalat settles 05 cases at Anantnag : ANANTNAG, May 18: A Lok Adalat was held at the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, Anantnag under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Rashid Malik, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Anantnag. As many as 19 cases of different nature were taken up during the said Lok Adalat, out of which 05 cases were settled on spot in presence of the concerned parties. An amount of Rs. 13.10 lakh were awarded in 03 MACT claims. Officials of Court Members, Bar Association, large number of litigants besides senior citizens of the area were also present on the occasion. The next Lok Adalat shall be held at Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, Anantnag on May 31, 2014.
