Long story but it was one of the best moments of my year. Today was quite interesting. I successfully ran every errand in the rain. Then I go early vote. Im the only one there who didnt qualify for AARP. Young folks get out there and early vote. To my story: I am wearing an old field trip shirt from my teaching days. One of the ladies there asked if I still taught. I said No Im a blogger. She said what? I said a blogger. She asked so what do you do? The other lady said oh youre an entrepreneur. I say Yes. So the lady said after I vote she needed to talk to me. And she did. I ended up referring her to People Fund and Women CEO Project for her business she wants to do with her daughter. And to think I wasnt going to go out in this rain. I was a blessing to her. She gave me a big hug and told me I was there in that place bc she needed the information I shared. Thank God Chimere Norris created new business cards for my new blog. I was prepared to help someone else and it made my day bc I was paid with a hug. Today turned out to be a blessing.
