# Long-suffering love about me “Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”(I Corinthians 13:4-7) Long-suffering, this is one of the qualities of love. It is a first button to complete the dress of love. Also the middle and the last button as well. (Love is patient / bears all things / endures all things) Long-suffering is to open the door of love, and also the last closing of the door of love. Thus, love makes the completion. Without long-suffering, it is not a true love and it does not bear fruit. When it is said “God loves us”, always longsuffering is implied in that word. Because God loves us He has no choice but to be patient. We have received such God’s love of patience, and are enjoying, and are living with its energy. How do parents love their children? Because of the love for their children, they show transcendental long-suffering. Perhaps it seems like that God gave parents children for the lesson about patience. If I have received Gods grace of love, and have grafted onto that love, long-suffering will be appeared as a proof. However, is it easy to be patient? For example, once we got angry it is spiraling out of control, what should we do? In the Holy Spirit, there is the gift of long-suffering. When we ask we will receive it. And we can endure by using the power of it. However, the target of long-suffering includes myself as well. “Why can’t I wait myself while wait others? Why underestimate myself while the Lord considers me preciously? Why do I condemn myself by the impulse of Satan?” God waits us with a long-suffering love every day. And He is accomplishing His will which was put on us every day. But sometimes we are discouraged and our heart becomes lukewarm when we see my situation right now. We are growing and continue to get better. The Lord said He consider us preciously more than the earth. Let’s remember God’s long-suffering love for us. Look at ourselves and our endless possibilities in the Lord. Let’s look at the changed ourselves at tomorrow in the eyes of faith. By Jesus, Compass 4 Life
