Looking For Tech Architect - MNC - Bangalore Position: Tech Architect Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities: • Work with CTO, Engg Managers and Product Management to identify the next set of technological challenges that the company faces and work towards building prototype solutions to solve those challenges. • Come up with ideas to improve efficiency in our systems: how can we make our map reduce jobs faster? How can we increase the QPS of our ad servers and bid servers? How can we reduce data transfer between our servers? • Evaluate new technologies from time to time and bring them to mainstream if they are suitable. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in the team. • Help in hiring engineering managers and engineers for the technology team. Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience • Should have a strong development background and an excellent understanding of fundamentals of Computer Science • Should have BE/BTech, but preferably ME/MTech or PhD in Computer Science or related field from a premier institute only (Computer Science background ONLY). • Should have worked in a company in the internet domain and should have faced non trivial scaling challenges. • Should have good knowledge of the latest trends in internet related technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, cloud computing etc. • Should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
