Looking closely at forecast snow growth in the northern reaches of North America, and especially Eurasia. Theres a strong correlation of cold North American Winters, when there is fast and widespread October snow growth in Russia and the Northern Part of Canada , as we clearly saw last Winter, and most Winters where it builds rapidly. Too long to discuss why, but that snowcover over land, coupled with warm oceans (Pac and ATL) usually lines up a jet stream flow that crosses the North Pole at times, and aims the jet right into central and eastern US. Well see what transpires on the ground this month. This is only a model projection, but it shows a 2 week sudden building of snow cover in the regions discussed. #winter
