“Lord we do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You!” Hear us! Forgive us! Heal us! Bring Revival! September 22, 2014 Prayer: And now may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious. May the Lord lift His countenance on You and give You peace. Lord we thank You for Your amazing grace. We rejoice in the fact that You know our names and have added us to Your family. We are humbled that You treat each one of us like Your children. We are grateful for Your mercy and compassion toward us even though we are sinners. What God knows the names of all His people and supplies them with gifts to worship and serve Him? The Lord Strong and Mighty, Our Father in heaven. WE choose to live like children of the King. We choose to be ambassadors of Your grace, ministers of reconciliation. Lord make us instruments of Your peace. This we pray in the name of the Prince of Peace and King of Kings: Jesus the Christ. Amen. Reading: Nehemiah 7 Meditate on This as You Read How important is it for you to know the names and family relationships of others in the church? How do you show appreciation to those who have been in the church for many years? Quote and Charge: Christians ought not to be smothered in fear. There is a spiritual readiness, where we return to having the peace of God stand guard over our hearts and minds. What an incredible witness it is to a lost and fearful society when the Christian acts like a child of God, living under the loving sovereignty of the Heavenly Father. The Christian needs to walk in peace, so no matter what happens they will be able to bear witness to a watching world. — Henry Blackaby May You Act Like a Child of God!
