Lorraine Chase has revealed that she would like to make more return appearances on the soap. The actress is seen back on screen for one episode this evening as her character Steph Stokes attends the funeral of her father Alan Turner. Steph, who was wrongly jailed for murder in her exit plot, is escorted to the church service by a prison guard. Lorraine left Emmerdale in 2006 in order to spend more time with friends and family in London - including her dad Charlie Parsons, who passed away at the age of 80 last year. Speaking on ITVs Lorraine today, Lorraine explained: It was difficult for me because I had my dad when I was in Emmerdale and he was poorly then. You do have to live up in Leeds - which was no problem, it was beautiful - but I just felt it was time to leave but Id like to go in and out, that would be lovely.
