Losing weight can seem like such a daunting challenge, especially this day in age. Everywhere you turn, you are faced with propaganda saying "sprinkle this on your food! lose weight fast!".... "try these pregnancy hormone drops! lose weight fast!"... "try these pills!" "Drink these shakes!". Oye! I have been there (shake replacement meals). And I have learned from it... Keep it simple, stupid! Cut out the processed crap. Skip the junk food. Stop drinking sweet tea and pop. Watch the breads and pastas. Turn instead to fresh fruits and veggies... protein... WATER! Meal replacements have their place. If you are struggling to start on a new healthy journey, QUALITY meal replacements (limited soy, sodium, no artificial sweeteners etc) can help make meal choices simpler. But they are not a miracle diet. You MUST learn how to properly fuel your body! Do your research! Save yourself!
