Lost in Technology: While traveling through New York I walked past a mother on her IPhone. While deeply engrossed in whatever she was doing her daughter tried several times to speak to her mother. Again and again the mother failed to hear her daughter. Honestly, I believe someone could have walked away with the little girl and the mother never would have noticed. It got me thinking of Facebook and the time spent on technology. Daily I read stories on Facebook that sadden my heart. So many use it to complain, vent and even share stories or moral decline. I know because I myself had been guilty of it until I saw the errors of my way. Who are we? What is our results in God? I often ponder how would we be as a nation if the Word of God was just as Important as Facebook? Or if prayer was priority? And we wonder why America is in decline? The enemy of our soul doesnt have to entice us with sin anymore, he merely keeps us busy with Facebook, Twitter or instant gram. Its time we take back our time and set our priorities on God and not self. We dont have time for idleness or laziness. This World needs individuals who would be willing to get back to the Word of God and prayer. Its time we forget about ourselves and reach to help others. We dont have time to lose ourselves in technology, its time we lose ourself in God.
