Lots of cat drama today. Were all on edge because of Tiger Old-Cats issues. I came home and found my wife using the vacuum and freaking the fark out. Turns out Louis had been sitting on the entertainment center, and tried to leap off, forgetting that he has zero traction on varnished wood. He knocked down a bunch of candle-holders and other decorative gew-gaws, which shattered into a bazillion pieces. My wife ran into the room to find him playing and chasing a glass shard across the floor (cats can always make lemonade out of lemons). I inspected him and couldnt find any fragments in his paws or his fur. He looked chastened, prolly from having my wife freak the fark out at him, but was fine. I reminded her that hes 11 years old and has managed to survive broken glass many times over. Crikey, he jumped off of our counter years ago, sending a cast iron skillet to the floor and cracking it into 4 pieces. Louis. Cat God of Destruction.
