Lots of exciting news to share, and a big update coming! But for now I have to summarize. I am now near the border of the US and Mexico, in Nuevo Progreso. I unexpectedly got a ride here yesterday afternoon, after realizing there was no way to get my equipment delivered to me in San Luis Potosi. I await the equipment on the other side of the border, where I will go and pick it up, and then walk across the border with Kike as I dreamed! It seems that we will have to wait here at least a week for the things to be delivered, but I found a wonderful little room being rented by a lovely family, which has a kitchenette. Its very quiet and peaceful here, and Im going to use the time to help Kike heal fully. Because I have a kitchen and a refrigerator, I can make him healing food, and some natural medicine, and allow him to rest and fully recover. I am absolutely thrilled to be here, to have a little more time in Mexico before we continue walking in the United States.
