Lots of new bikes in Boise neighborhoods this morning! Boise Chief Masterson and Bike Officer Johnson spent a great day meeting families and joining the volunteers this past weekend at the Boise Bike Projects holiday bike giveaway. It was hard to tell who had the better time, the kids or the volunteers! The officers made sure no one left without a bike light, courtesy of ACHD and ITD. Everyone left with a smile. These bikes are donated to BBP and fixed up and shined by volunteers. For some of Boises refugee families, these were the first bikes anyone in the family has ever had. Thank you Boise for bringing smiles to lots of deserving kids. We are proud to serve this amazing community. Happy Holidays.
