Lots of things will be changing for Mandy at VMI after Saturday! Once the Rats Breakout... They no longer have to strain. They may use their cellphones in their rooms, use Facebook in barracks, watch movies, listen to music, talk outside, walk outside of the Ratline and use all of the arches in barrack. They may sit on the entire seat of their chairs in the chow hall, and do not have to sit at attention while they eat. They are permitted to put their racks down after 1200, and can take a single weekend this semester. They will also no longer have to speak of themselves as This Rat..., they will no longer have to take a dozen Spit Showers a day from the Cadre screaming in their face! A lot of things are changing for me too. I have to let go a little. (A LOT according to Larry! LOL!), I will finally grow back the hair that I have pulled out, I will have my hair colored to cover all the extra gray that topped what I already had, I will no longer have to daily repent of the thoughts of hurting people! Ahhh.... Looking forward to more sleep and less stress for Mandy and myself. Soooo PROUD!! :-D
