Louisiana Hurricane Center While the Atlantic has been quiet this year we have another monster storm in the western Pacific about to devastate the #Philippines. Seems as if all the energy this year has been over seas. This is Super Typhoon #Haiyan packing incredible sustained winds of 170 mph with gusts up to 205 mph!!! From the track it looks as if landfall will be sometime Friday morning.
