Love feels all right. But it must also think and be willing to - TopicsExpress

Love feels all right. But it must also think and be willing to wait. Christian kids in high school and college who are in a hurry to know whether this or that person is Gods designed life partner for them generally do not get Gods answer simply because they are not yet ready for marriage. Let us try to put our priorities in their proper perspective. While we are in school, God has called us to study. We will be happier, and our parents too, if we devote ourselves to our studies and acquire a wide circle of friends rather than confine our relationship to one or two special ones. In the meantime, we will pray and we will wait. The kind of waiting that looks up trustingly to God. He thoroughly understands our need of a companion for life, just as He saw and provided for Adams need at the dawn of creation. Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act. Psalm 37:4-5 From my favorite book written by Mrs. Feliciano. :)
