Love or Destiny Chapter - 6 I would have thrown myself against the wall hadnt i received her call that moment. She said Aarav, Dont think Destiny betrayed us ! I dont care whom i getting engaged to in two days. My heart still beats for my Aarav only and these words are all i have to say to you. Love you. she disconnected. I just had a smile to respond to it and that too was of a person who stood like a loser empty handed, not knowing what to do and where to go. Shivy got engaged. It was a feeling when i didnt want to live any longer. A statue, a feelingless stone - Aarav ! I somehow got back to my routine life. Life had taught a lesson that money is everything. Destiny isnt a gift, you have to make yours. Love is bound to give you pain one day and i could not take the pain any more now. Three months passed and i had learnt to live alone. The word relation had become so meaningless that i didnt even befriend a single person after all what happened. I was living just for myself now. People began to call me arrogant and i was fine with it. Every person who stays silent for no reason has an untold story behind him and i never could let Shivy get off my mind. November, the month in which her marriage was fixed got over. She would have been married by now i spoke to myself everyday just to let go the love which was still somewhere alive for her. 20th December, Aman (Shivys friend ) rang me up. Is that Aarav ? he asked. Yes Aman , its me. So ? i was being rude because i didnt want anyone related to Shivy in my life. Aarav ! What kind of a lover you are Man ? You should be with Shivy, she is so depressed after what happened last month ! he was sounding angry. Do i still need to be her even after when she is married ! i shouted ! Dont act like you dont know anything Aarav. She must have told you and youre still away ! he shouted back. What are you talking ? i asked. Dont you know that Sameer got arrested for being involved in supply of poisonous liquor ! Shivys Dad called off the marriage I threw away the phone and rushed to take the first flight to Nagpore. I was there next day afternoon. I had rang up Aman in between to bring Shivy along with him to the Airport. Shivy was in front of my eyes. I ran towards her and took her in my arms. I was overwhelmed. I had her in my arms again. I could feel her, touch her, see her again ! I just cant describe that moment. I yelled at her Oye Meri Jhallo! Why didnt you tell me anything ! I was dying every second do you have an idea you stupo as to what you were doing We both were crying but these were tears out of happiness. Shivy didnt let me break the hug and cried out I thought i had lost you, i thought you have moved on she hugged me even tighter. How dare you think your Aarav can ever forget you! I can forget to breathe but forgetting you ! Id prefer being dead ! I gave her a cute punch on her cheek. What about that new pretty girl in your office Aarav, you talk to her now ? she laughed out with tears still falling. No ! She is now my senior, boss married her we both laughed heartily. She was about to give me the kiss of love. Ahem Ahem , its a public place interrupted Aman. I told you my mom always predicts it right ! he said. Three of us had big smiles. Shivys Dad realised the value of love in life. Money may buy you happiness but it cant buy you love. So what next ? Nothing ! Its been three years we are happily married. I love narrating my story because Destiny got me my love. Ahan , wait ! Love got me my destiny. Umm! Love or Destiny i dont know but i just know one thing, my princess Anavi is crying and i have to go and play with her. Oh! I forgot , Anavi , our daughter my little princess !
