Love the mango season. This is mambazhapulisheri, a preparation made with ripe mangoes that goes well with rice. A Kerala delicacy. Take two to three small ripe mangoes or a big one cut into pieces along with the skin and the seed. Put in a vessel with two cups of water and salt for taste. Let it cook for 5 minutes. Take a level cup of grated ccoconut, green chilliess ( 2 to three), a teaspoon of jeera and grind to a smooth paste. Add to mango curry along with beaten curd ( a cupful). Stir well. The consistency should not be too watery. Allow one boil and remove. In a kadai, splutter rai, some fenugreek seeds, two red chillies and curry leaves. Stir fry and pour on curry.
