Love this; I couldnt really agree more. Makes you think what really is important, especially in hindsight looking at figures of rising inequality and poverty, issues with education etc. I urge everyone to engage in some reflexivity: think about how you want to live your life, and what you can create and leave behind for future generations. Heres a neat ideal: Journey before destination. Socially, this can represent our generation and how we look to capitalism and exponential growth as goals; earning as much as possible. Have a think about it, and decide whats really important. Living a clean and compassionate life, or, disregarding society to climb a corporate ladder and make some money? Even if you decide the latter, where is that going to leave the world in 10, 20, 30 years from now? What issues is this behaviour going to create if everyone joins in? Have a think about it :)
