Love this acceptance speech by the fabulous Shonda Rhimes! The content and sentiment is thought-provoking and makes me appreciate the things we so readily take for granted, when not so many years ago women lived very different lives. From a speakers perspective, I love the construction and delivery of the speech. Perfect timing, excellent choice of words and phrases, humour used in all the right places, especially at the start to warm the audience to an impassioned speech on a serious topic.
