Love this article by Jill Dolan. Someone posted hateful personal statements on my FB page and when I blocked them said I was a critic who couldnt take criticism. I didnt want to spend the energy to explain the difference between personal attacks and critical response as I try and practice it. Jill does a great job of articulating a thoughtful vision of criticism as creative practice. Props to Jan Cohen-Cruz for her new journal!
