Lovely Butterfly Poets! Susan is thrilled with your poems and participation, please RSVP and those afar thank you for being here in your hearts! 3-6 PM Sat Sept 13 125 Scenic Drive Gallery Monrovia Poets, our wonderful artist has a gallery full of butterflies! We will watch them fly and sing to us from 3-4. Then, at 4 PM all of you who come to the Scenic Drive Gallery will read your own poems written inspired by of Susans amazing art and the wonderful opera. The reading will feature a short solo reading by our visiting Butterfly Poet, Mariko Kitakubo. All who have contributed poems, plan to read yours, and choose one or two by other Tanka Poets on Site who are included. I will have the preliminary current version of the book on hand, in fact I will put it on line before Saturday if I can. Please bring your poems to be sure I have them all. I will bring the manuscript as it is now, in process, like a butterflys path. Ive been arranging the poems as a sequence and will continue that. You may add new poems to your collection, please make sure to send them to me before or after the event. 125 Scenic Drive Gallery Monrovia 3-6 PM you can bring something to share, a snack or drink Poets please send me a tanka if you would like to still submit to the final edition.
