Lucie came in 4th yesterday in the 1600 meter with a time of 5:12. Came in 8th in the 3200 meter with a time of 11:34. Not so great in the 4x400 relay but they tried. I have told her when she feels tired during a race she should think of the legendary Steve Prefontaine who said, Somebody may beat me, but they are going to have to bleed to do it. She has the guts as he did. Extremely proud of my daughter and the athletes with whom she runs with. :-)
