(Luke 12:6-9) Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. "And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. Sometimes, life and circumstances can be very difficult. At times, you may feel that God has forgotten your circumstances or your struggles; you may feel that you are going it alone. God placed great value on you when He sacrificed His Son for you. The reality is that He will never forget you or forsake you. The times when you feel alone are the times when God is pushing you and stretching you out of your comfort zone, much like when a parent is teaching his child to ride a bicycle; he must let go of the seat and let his child go it alone, but he is always a mere half-pace behind, ready to snatch his child from falling. God is always with you and always sharply focused on where you are and what you are going through. Your responsibility is to always keep your focus and attention on Him, regardless of how difficult or frightening your circumstances might seem. He takes you through difficulties to either get you back on track if you have strayed or to conform you more into the image of His Son. Either way, it is good for you! Today, remember that God never forgets you and is always paying close attention to where you are. Keep your focus on Him and never deny Him by not believing He always has your best interest in mind.
