Luke 17:12-19 KJV12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him 10 men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.14 And when he saw [them], he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,16 And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.19And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. I thank God daily that work for a great company like Johnson & Johnson. It is a blessing and the core of the blessing revolves around the culture of giving back to others. Our president constantly reinforces the idea that when it comes to charity, we are not just about “giving a Handout” but “give a Hand-Up”; helping others be in better standing in every area of life including giving back to the community as was given unto them. In that same vain for a thought today, Let’s stay in God’s presence. Sometimes we only stay long enough for a HANDOUT and we go back to our originally scheduled programming called life with only some temporary relief to our situation. Yet we still have our previous mindset and haven’t changed our outlook on where we are in life. There is just something about being in the presence of Jesus that will cause you to be bold enough to press in because you need a change. There is a difference between asking for help and being desperate for a change. Some say, “I need financial help God!” but my mindset in how I handle what God blesses me with needs a CHANGE. My son is facing time in prison and needs help but, his heart mind and soul needs a Change toward God. But there was one that even as he was leaving God’s presence and received the help that he needed, something inside of him had him to turn around because he being a Samarian, didn’t serve the living God. He realized that “[One day in God’s presence] is better than a thousand elsewhere.” He knew he met a man than gave him the help he cried out for but this man could be the one to bring about the change that his life needed. You have to be desperate enough to Turn Back so God can perform a TURNAROUND and say “Lord I know I only asked for a miracle but I need a transformation beyond the miracle.” God wants you to seek his face not only his hand, and watch that you will come back healed
