Lupita is my hero! She embodies class, intelligence and beauty. I have heard and read many comments in the last few weeks where people of all races including African Americans did not consider her skin color and hair beautiful which is very sad. I grew up not feeling beautiful because of my size, hair & color so thank you my sista for encouraging young girls and women like me to stand proud of what we look like. There are many of us who grew up not seeing women that looked like them called beautiful.
