Foreigners hiring their own kind and huge strain on our infrastructure, are but too obvious outcomes. Granting citizenships will obviously sustained the PAP hold in the 2016 GE to some extent. For the coverment, it was a brilliant move. Never mind if it was shortsighted , selfish to people like me.
