*** MACHIAVELLI NEEDS YOUR HELP TONIGHT *** A volunteer writes: Macchiavelli came to us with friends Cleopatra and Ed Kenway as their owner died. The trio does not take well having lost their home and their master and do not want more than being left alone in their kennel. Pulling and dragging (which I do not like to do) got Macchie into the yard. He walked with the tail between the legs and panting. He peed a river and relieved himself. He even joined a playgroup for shy dogs where he did not do much…He felt better, leash free in a pen and started to stroll on his own, exploring a little but clearly uncomfortable. His tail was out and a little smile came on his face. I offered him some treats that he took from my hand. I petted him all over and Macchie was fine with it. From what I have seen from these three house dogs, family dogs who were clearly very close to their defunct master and most likely very loved by him or her, only another home will do and not a shelter environment. Macchiavelli, Ed Kenway and Cleopatra need out. Will you help us by bringing hope into their lives? Will you help us and give them a new leash on life? Dont waste another moment.
