Feedback from our last guests; Thanks for your email, Firstly we had an absolutely terrific time at Mansfield cottage. This was the first family holiday we have had since having our last born who is now four months old. The house was ideal for us and our five children especially with the two younger babies aged 22 months and as said above four months, especially with the use of all facilities needed eg. fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath tub, fenced yard and importantly air conditioner lol. The older kids (aged 15, 13 and 10 years old) also not missing out on anything had a ball; the table tennis was a hit. The cottage itself was ideal. Now moving onto the beautiful country side and the glorious river: First impression pulling into “Mansfield” was PEACEFUL! Everything is so calm and quiet, just the beautiful sound of chirping birds and the miles of open fresh air, the views surrounding the cottage are picturesque and the river side is so pretty and inviting. Our stay: Everything was ready and waiting for us, all we need do was unload the car and done! The kids quickly picked their bed and took off exploring. Over the course of our stay we spent many hours either in the river swimming or alongside it where the kids fished and had fun in a blow up boat we had taken with us. Meals were greatly spent sitting out on the back veranda where we watched birds, rabbits, kangaroos and other wildlife come and go. Every morning the kids would excitedly head to the chook pen in search of the goodies they had left - yummy fresh eggs. The girls got a kite flying and I might add it got pretty high too, so nice just to go back to simple fun. We also got the fire going one night so the kids could toast some yummy marshmallows; it was so much fun for them. We had such a great getaway and highly recommend a stay at “Mansfield cottage” we will be back for sure (missing it already).
