MANY JUST HAVE AN OUTWARD FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENY THE POWER OF THE TRUE GOSPEL THAT MAKES US A NEW CREATION WHEN WE REPENT AND BELIEVE ON JESUS !! 2nd Tim.3:1-5 We live in a day where it is so easy to say you are a Christian and yet be full of sin ! They are lovers of self and lovers of money and lovers of pleasure and yet they boast that they are right with God and act religious and yet are still spiritually dead and are void of real biblical holiness in heart and lifestyle. Psalm 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Jesus said in Matthew 23:25Woe unto you hypocrites for you make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter ,but within they are full of extortion and excess. God looks at the heart , the inner motives and thoughts and who we really are on the inside.It is easy to fake and pretend to be spiritual and act like a Christian but God knows if we truly belong to Him ! The word excess means self-indulgence and thats what we see in the Church today-not godliness but greed ! Jesus is saying make sure you are pure in heart and not just appear to be holy on the outside.Get rid of the things that defile you inwardly. Matthew 23:26Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter,that the outside of them may be clean also. As we see in 2nd Cor.7:1 that we are to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God ! Jesus said in Matthew 23:27 that you can look just great on the outside ,but still within be full of dead mens bones,and of all uncleanness. And in Matthew 23:28Even so you outwardly appear righteous unto men ,but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Many today are like painted tombs ,beautiful and attractive on the outside ,yet full of lust ,pride ,bitterness ,greed and corruption on the inside !! When you are truly born again there is an inner transformation that takes place in the inner man ! You are recreated into a brand new man and according to Eph.4:24 it says, And that ye put on the new man,which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. From here out we are to mortify and put to death the deeds of the flesh and not to harbor secret sin ! Read Eph.4:24-32 ! We are to walk with an honest sincere heart that wants to please God and not the flesh. Read these holy scriptures ! 1.Ecclesiastes 12:13-14Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:Fear God,and keep His commandments:for this is the whole duty of man.For God shall bring into judgment every secret thing whether it be good ,or whether it be evil. 2.Romans 2:16In that day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. 3.Prov.5:21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,and He ponders all his goings. 4.Prov.15:3The eyes of the Lord are in every place,beholding the evil and the good. You cannot hide your sin from the all-knowing Lord Most High ! 5.The time to get right with God is now.The time to repent and surrender to Jesus is now ! Today could be your last day! Are you ready to meet your holy awesome Maker ? Please my friends choose Jesus Christ. You can receive Christ right now. Remember that Jesus says, Im standing at the door and Im knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in. Would you like to respond to his invitation? Heres how. If you dont know Jesus as your personal Savior just pray this simple pray and you will be saved The precise words you use to commit yourself to God are not important. He knows the intentions of your heart. If you are unsure of what to pray, this might help you put it into words: Jesus, I want to know you. I want you to come into my life. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin so that I could be fully accepted by you. Only you can give me the power to change and become the person you created me to be. Thank you for forgiving me and giving me eternal life with God. I give my life to you. Please do with it as you wish. Amen. If you sincerely asked Jesus into your life just now, then he has come into your life as he promised. You have begun a personal relationship with God. What follows is a lifelong journey of change and growth as you get to know God better through Bible reading, prayer and interaction with other Christians.
