MCJOBS: A job, usually in the retail or service sector, that is low paying, often temporary, and offers minimal or no benefits or opportunity for promotion. I worked at Macs when I was 17 for $1.80/hour. I was the Fillet-O-Fish and Apple Pie guy. If I rembr correctly, it was the same oil. Not much thinking required. Just press the buttons, hear the beep, squirt the sauce, heat the buns....all menial tasks. It was fun for the first three hours. After that, it just became really mundane. But still had to do a good job because quality was important. Sometimes we will go through periods of life when it seems we are just functioning and not much seems to happen. Rather than thriving, we are just surviving. Not everyday is a wow day although we try to psyche ourselves for it to be. Most of our days require us just to be faithful in whatever we are doing, no matter how big or how small the task. Be faithful with the little things and whatever responsibilities you have been given.
