MEMBER REQUEST - Hi I have been engaged for about 3 years now and we had planned the big wedding with 100 guests, sit down meal, 5 bridesmaids, best man, DJ, favours, entertainment, 2 week honeymoon.....the whole works as although its my 2nd wedding its my fiances 1st so we wanted to do the whole BIG wedding for him. Anyway we have recently gone through a rough patch (lots of doctors involved) and can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel but we have been thinking of changing EVERYTHING and just having 30 guests including us (our children, parents, siblings, nieces/nephews) with our children only as bridesmaids then a pub lunch somewhere afterwards and a weekend away. Has anyone else changed things so drastically with only a few months to go? We have even thought of going away on holiday and getting married just the two of us then using the day to celebrate with everyone but not sure how people would take not seeing us actually GET married? What are peoples thoughts?
