MEMBERSHIP SUGGESTION: folks, we have just given our 5 kids £24 each for them and their partners to sign up to one of the 3 coalition parties. They are all Yes voters but dont always have a lot of money. In our mail we have said to them if they are already members to then spend the money on a friend or another Yes voter they know that may not be able to afford membership. So my request is pretty simple: firstly each one of us to talk to every Yes voter we know and encourage them to sign up to one of the 3 coalition parties. Secondly: if you can afford to sponsor somebody for membership then do so. There are those to whom £5 (unemployed rate per annum) is the next few meals for themselves and their families but that does not mean they should not have representation or a seat at the table. These are only suggestions and I have no issue with folk not agreeing so please dont come back with negatives. If it isnt for you then thats ok but if it helps us get more of the 1.6m into the discussion and with a stake then fantastic.
