MENTOR TRAINING FOR ROTARIANS RCoA has received a grant from the Office for Volunteer for members of our club to be trained as youth mentors. Everyone (Rotarians, family, friends and colleagues) are welcome to participate in the training, even if you or they are not joining the Rotary Club of Adelaide Youth Mentoring program at this time. The aim of the training is to build community capacity within our club by providing an opportunity for members and others interested in Rotary to engage in a proactive way to assist the well-being and career aspirations of young people from Multi-Cultural Youth SA, the Rotaract Club of Thebarton Senior College and Adelaide University. Training is being held on: Date: Wednesday September 17, 2014 Time: 6:30-9:30pm Venue: Multi Cultural Youth Education Centre, Building 7/ 255 Torrens Road, West Croydon SA 5008 (entrance off Brown Street) The training will consist of: • An introduction to mentoring • Cultural awareness • Child safe environments information Please contact Heidi Unferdorben on 0427 479 498 or heidiunf@hotmail for further information and to register.
